Privacy
Applies to the Gather apps by Isham Labs. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud. Isham Labs never sees it.
Our approach
- No accounts. You don't sign up or sign in to anything of ours.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking. We don't measure how you use the apps, and we don't share or sell anything.
- No servers of ours. We run nothing that receives your data.
- Your own iCloud. If iCloud is on, an app syncs through your private iCloud database. Apple holds it under your Apple Account. We can't read it.

The apps
Gather Expense
What it stores: your trips and expenses, receipt scans and PDFs, amounts and currencies, notes, and the names of colleagues you add to team expenses. All of it stays on your iPhone and in your private iCloud.
Camera: used only to scan receipts. Receipt text, such as the amount and invoice number, is read on the iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to do this.
Face ID or passcode: used only to lock the app, if you turn the lock on. The app never sees your face data.
Files: the app reads a receipt PDF only when you choose to import one.
Exports: an expense sheet and a receipts zip are made only when you choose Export. They go only where you send them. They include the names on your team expenses, so share them with that in mind.
Deleting your data
Delete trips in the app, or delete the app. To remove the iCloud copy too, open Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, choose the app, then Delete Data.
Children
The apps are not directed at children, and we collect no data from anyone.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If an app ever starts sending data anywhere, it will say so here before that version is released.
